Reading journal || E.B. White || Once more to the lake

What makes EB White essay a strong narration, he connect the reader to the same date and time were he once was. To top it off he cover the scenery, to help us visualize each scene which keeps the readers interested.


He talk about his childhood, through a reflective piece of his memory and mortality. A past were he once experiences with a son and father bond memory.


"And with no thought of going in, I watched him, his hard little body, skinny and bare, saw him slightly as he pulled up around is vitals the small, soggy, icy garment. As he buckled the swollen belt suddenly my groin felt the chill of death". To see himself as a kid, reflective the idea that he is not immortality but mortality, where he share his thought.
